Folly Beach Workshop

Join the Folly Beach Workshop from July 24 to July 26, designed for hands-on learning without the fiberglassing process. Each person will have their own shaping station and toolkit as we walk through the steps to complete a hollow frame surfboard. 

We will start the evening of Friday 7/24 gluing the frame to the bottom deck allowing that to dry overnight. Saturday 7/25 we will begin constructing the rails, nose, tail, and deck with frequent breaks to surf, eat, and skate while glue dries. The goal is to begin shaping on Sunday 7/26 and will reserve Saturday and Sunday the following weekend 8/1-8/2 as backup days if needed.

After reserving your spot we will reach out to select a size, shape, and fins for your board and discuss fiberglass options. Fiberglassing is not included in the price or workshop due to time constraints and potential damage to event space. Fiberglassing services are offered post event for an additional charge.
